PlumePack - v3.2.0
- New Transcode Features
- Video and Audio Transcode Presets are now categorised in the dropdown depending if they are "Match Audio Layout" or "Restricted Audio Layout"
- "Match Audio Layout" presets now support mono (1-10 channels, and 16 channels), stereo (1-10 channels), and 5.1 surround. Mixed audio mono/stereo are not supported - please contact us to ask for support
- "Restricted Audio Layout" presets only support mono, stereo, and 5.1 surround - no support for multi-channels
- New Match Audio Layout "H264 MOV Fixed BitRate (CBR)" preset: outputs to .mov, bitrate can be set in the UI
- New Match Audio Layout "H264 MOV Fixed BitRate (CBR)" preset: outputs to .mov, bitrate can be set in the UI, and is adapted proportionnaly depending on the source resolution and framerate, in the same Media Encoder does in its adaptive presets. You can see chosen bitrate value in the PlumePack analysis/report details.
- Wav 16bits 48khz" is now a "Match Audio Layout" preset
- Improved:
- (Free & Pro) Queue limit popup: new "Replace pending task" / "Cancel" choices instead of a single OK
- "Select/Unselect All Sequences" button in PlumePack options now only affects sequences visible after the search filter
- PlumePack in Background: clearer message when a task is paused (info message, tooltip, confirm dialog) to explain that Premiere Pro is needed exclusively for the next phase
- R3D NE files (Nikon ZR cameras) are now properly identified and excluded from trimming, instead of displaying a confusing trim error.
- Fixed:
- Explicit Bug: timeline clips with an AI Mask (Object Mask) applied were not excluded from trimming in some project configurations
- Explicit Bug: if the project had unsaved changes (e.g. a newly imported clip) when adding a task to the queue, the .prproj file on disk was out of date, causing inconsistencies during processing. The project is now saved automatically before the task is created
- 5.1 surround warning in transcode report feedback now correctly triggers for all 5.1 channel orderings, not only the standard one
- Explicit Bug: deleting a paused task from the queue was not working
- Explicit Bug: unusual marker type disappearing after trimming could result in replacement errors. Now replacement is fine and warning is displayed in report feedback about the modified marker
- The delete button is now hidden on running tasks in queue
- Explicit Bug: when sequence framerate differs from footage framerate, clips with GOP compression extending near the end of the file could fail to trim due to a 1-frame rounding error. Now automatically handled
- Some Param were badly linked to the documentation part, so the panel was not well scrolling to the good part of the UI documentation
